Description
Summary:This research study investigated the relationship between self-concept and academic achievement among Primary 4 and Primary 6 Malay pupils in Singapore. It also examined sex and grade level effects on the self-concept of the pupils. The two levels were selected for study as they constituted critical points in the pupils' school life, being either the year when streaming occurs or when pupils take a national examination (Modified Primary School Leaving Examination) at the end of their primary school education.
