Description
Summary:This thesis is concerned with on-state MMIC transmit/receive(T/R) switch utilizing pHEMT devices operating in nonlinear mode. The nonlinear performance of the switch, such as output power at one dB gain compression point and the third-order intermodulation product, is investigated using Volterra series analysis. Some rules are proposed to increase the output power and to minimize the intermodulation.
