We have successfully demonstrated fiber ring lasers with single-, multi-wavelength, and wavelength switchable fiber ring lasing using this technique. The characteristics of the developed fiber lasers, including the optical spectrum, the wavelength spacing, the wavelength-tunability, the active mode-locking, and the temporal property have been fully investigated.
