Description
Summary:This story is set 4 hours before the start of a traditional Chinese wedding tea ceremony. Rebecca's mother imposes a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in Rebecca's modern sleek wedding reception. This leads to a series of very traditional Chinese custims that seem antiquated to Rebecca and her new-age liberal guests. Meng Juan (Rebecca's mother) tries her best to provide a perfect Chinese wedding for her daughter but her efforts seem to go unappreciated. This saddens Meng Juan and brings out her deep secret behind closed doors. The intense situation is complicated by an uninvited guest who tips off the disastrously perfect day. In the end, Meng Juan finds that she only has her daughter's best interest at heart.
