Meng Juan (Rebecca's mother) tries her best to provide a perfect Chinese wedding for her daughter but her efforts seem to go unappreciated. This saddens Meng Juan and brings out her deep secret behind closed doors. The intense situation is complicated by an uninvited guest who tips off the disastrously perfect day. In the end, Meng Juan finds that she only has her daughter's best interest at heart.
