Summary: | Polymer solar cell has attracted lots of studies, especially for bulk heterojunction polymer solar cells using poly-3-hexylthiophene/[6, 6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (P3HT/PCBM) blend as active layer. In this report, silicon solar cell, dye sensitized solar cell, and polymer solar cells are introduced. Traditionally, Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) : poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT : PSS) are used as cathode in polymer solar cell. However, several problems such as high cost, high resistivity make researchers to find suitable alternative for ITO electrode. |
