In Chapter 2, the aerobic aqueous transformation of halo group into hydroxyl group via tin-free radical method was presented. In Chapter 3, synthesis of 4,4-dihalotetrahydropyrans via Prins cyclization has been developed. In Chapter 4, Pd(II)-catalyzed direct arylation of cyclic enamides was shown.In chapter 5, the copper-free, palladium-catalyzed Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction was reported.
