總結:This research studies how female dragonboaters, being in a male-dominated sport, negotiate their feminine identity. The female dragonboaters make sense of themselves through the body language that they convey to others, the way that they discipline their bodies differently from the men team and more significantly the values and opinions that they hold. Despite the opinions and conceptions from the public, they continued in this sport that they hold passion for and make sense of themselves as an athlete and as a female nonetheless. They are able to justify themselves as an athlete in a sport to display their capabilities, yet not compromising their feminine identities.
