Summary: | Comfort food is an extension of a project on dementia, which I did a year ago. This project evolved
from a translation of complex medical terms to a visual interpretation of the disease, and subsequently to a
more personal level. I expressed it in terms of home-cooked food, an aspect of daily living at home.
The idea of creating food scenes was first inspired by the untouched food/ingredients ever since my
grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia. That was when I realized that the family haven‘t had regular
home-cooked food for the longest time. |
