Three main concerns involved the applicability of the PSE, the reliability of online PSE administration and the generalizability of the PSE. Two student samples (study 1 and 2) and a sample of working adults (study 3) in Singapore were conducted. Picture motive profiles, gender differences, administration condition (lab and online), test-retest reliability and sample differences (students and working adults) were examined. Findings from study 1 and 2 were comparable with previous research (Pang & Schultheiss, 2005; Schultheiss & Brunstein, 2001) suggesting substantial evidence for PSE usage for student samples. Results from study 3 are preliminary. Overall, our findings suggest potential for future online PSE administration in Singapore.
