Description
Summary:This entire project stemmed from our love for playing musical instruments, and also our dependency on music to accompany how we feel in various situations and points in our lives. We believe that the main motivation for a person to listen to music is his need for self expression. For example, when he is feeling happy, he would listen to uplifting or upbeat songs as opposed to gloomy songs with pessimistic lyrics. The strong connection between how we feel and the music that we listen to led us to the idea of exploring the spectrum of human emotions through our own compositions. We wanted to appeal to the various feelings of the listener in five songs that spanned a range of musical genres, and more ambitiously, try to manipulate how the listener was feeling in a short period of time.
