This study hence aims to gain a better understanding of the attributes currently required by the audit industry. It also explores the perceived differences between local and overseas accounting graduates in the said attributes. Finally, it measures the importance-performance gap between the attributes deemed important by the audit supervisors and the attributes possessed by the accounting graduates.
