VLSI implementation of a motion compensator chip for video decoding
This report presents the VLSI design and implementation of a motion compensator module for MPEG-2 video decoding that meets MP@ML (Main Profile at Main Level) real-time decoding requirement. The overall compensator module, as well as the its internal building modules are discussed in detail.
