Two photons pumped up conversion lasing.
Low threshold 2ASE and 2PALasing in CdSe/CdS core/shell heterostrucures have been demonstrated for the first time. With the 2PA cross-section σ2 can be controlled by the CdS shell and the PL spectrum controlled by the CdSe core, we demonstrated a 2ASE with a ultralow threshold fluence of ~1.5µJ/cm2....
