Description
Summary:With the advent of cheap avionics electronics, small scale Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, or UAVs, have become a target for much academic, professional, and hobbyist, research over the last 15 years. One such UAV is the quadcopter, popular due to its mechanical simplicity. The potential applications and fields of research for such UAVs range from swarm robotics to area-mapping and interior navigation. This project aims to develop the foundations of a Quadcopter drone fit for entry into a competition involving indoor navigation. All firmware written for the drone will be custom, ensuring simplicity and aiding in the understanding of code by future teams.
