Summary:As part of the initiative to effectively manage teaching activities, the CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ Primary School launched a project last year to create a system for scheduling relief lessons. While the practice in the past is completely manual and somewhat cumbersome, the new system, Relief Teaching Scheduling System (RTSS), automates the entire process to a large extent with high level of intelligence, achieving fairness and optimized utilization of teaching resource. This report aims to provide detailed documentation, not only for the ultimate functional behaviors witnessed by the end user in the form of a user manual, but also for the development of the system from a project management and software engineering point of view.
