Through the different circumstances, we see the similarities and differences that they may exhibit. This research will also uncover coping mechanisms used in order to help them reconcile the spheres of homosexuality and Christianity. Avoidance, choosing sides as well as reinterpreting the Bible show different ways of how they manage their identity.
