The emphasis on large gestures and comedic timing references animators such as Tex Avery, the use of space in shadow puppetry, and strong accented colours from old propaganda posters. Through these studies, I want to study and understand as much as possible, about the spirit and context of the 1930's and 1940's american cartoons.
