This paper provides an in-depth discussion on the feasibility of building a proposed underground science city in Singapore, as well as the possible impacts such a development may bring about on its users. The results are based on a quantitative online survey and specifically-constructed qualitative interviews conducted face-to-face by the writer, with experienced individuals from a range of existing underground facilities. A desirable outcome of this study would be more practical and user-friendly features being added into the proposed underground science city, catering to users from different types of professions who would eventually be working there.
