Description
Summary:In this work, Raman spectroscope is used to characterize the Fe/Al2O3 catalysts to find the structure differences between different thicknesses of catalysts. These catalysts are used for carbon nanotube (CNT) growth in thermal chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. In the previous CNT growth experiments, it is found that only certain thickness of catalyst has the best catalytic effect, but the reason is not very clear, so the objective of this dissertation is to characterize the structure differences between catalysts with different thickness to find the mechanism of catalytic effect in CNT growth.
