Description
Summary:The purpose of this project is to design and develop an exam monitoring software which can be used for a Robot Invigilator. Face recognition technology has been researched and used in this project. This paper present an approach to the detection and identification of human faces and describe how the exam monitoring software track an object’s head and then recognizes the person by comparing characteristics of the face to those of known individuals. By applying this technology, the robot invigilator can do what a traditional invigilator need to do during an examination such like, timing for the duration, checking the attendance face-to-face. A backend exam registration system also has been developed to simulate the real case. It’s a web-based website to let the school administrator to register student to the examined modules and upload the student’s latest photo. In the current day, most of the school should have such system; therefore, this registration system has less importance position in this project development.
