Description
Summary:This project describes the airport warehouse material handling system. Material handling system (MHS) is an indispensable part in almost all of industrial production system. Material handlings is defined as simply store materials, or use a series of transportations equipments to move the materials for some processing purpose such as sorting and repackaging. An effective MHS will increase efficiency and productivity of warehouse operation. Considering the large number of transportation equipments and storage components in an MHS, it is essential to optimize its performance with the use of the right materials handling technology. This report illustrates the use of new modeling formalism to simulate a complex MHS in a dynamic environment, consists of analyzing system requirements, using state-labeled finite-state automata to model different component in the system and compose these components together to form a complex model refer to the requirements. After that, use MATLAB to simulate the system model.
