Description
Summary:This book discusses the issue of caning as a form of punishment and the question as to whether caning is an effective deterrent. In order to ascertain if caning is an effective means of punishment, we have by way of research and surveys, attempted to measure the usefulness of caning in our jurisdiction. In the course of gathering data and statistics for this project, we have covered major newsletters and periodicals in this region and have also conducted interviews with persons well-versed in the area of criminal law.
