Case analysis of eight manufacturing companies were conducted. Results indicate that companies generally do not maintain _many links with Singapore but they do coordinate their subsidiaries' activities from their base here. This suggest that there are still certain aspects of the Regionalisation Drive that needs to be fine-tuned . We propose that public-private kereitsu-type ventures would allow more extensive linkages to be formed. For further research, this study could be replicated to cover other industries and countries.
