These applications cover a lot of areas such as personalization, entertainment, lifestyle, education, etc. Some of the concepts like video streaming, peer to peer chat are with mature technology and implementation, while others like crowd sourcing, intelligent transportation still lack innovation on their applications. This report describes the development of an android application for trip planning. It allows users to create and manage their trip in the form of timeline, the application also provides online / offline map navigation, information sharing through social media, and weather report from both official and crowd source.
