This practice can be traced back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279AD) and was associated with a gifted scholar by the name of Wang An Shi. (Refer to Appendix A for the Legend of Wang Shi An) 双喜 (Double Happiness) is an attempt to highlight the forgotten– through a dining-set redesigned for Chinese wedding banquets. It comes in 3 sets; each consisting of 5 dining wares and is inspired by the Chinese motif 双喜 and its romantic legend.
