Summary:Compared with twenty years ago, the public has become more insurance conscious. With the continued economic growth and rising living standards among Singaporeans, they will undoubtly demand more and wider insurance coverage. In addition, with the growing affluence of the population, they will go for more competitive premiums and a high standard of service, whether in sales servicing or claims functions. Thus, to ensure that a life insurance company continues to grow and prosper in a highly competitive field, she has to excel in her service to customers. To achieve that, the presence of qualified agent is inadmissible. Therefore, it is important that agency manager develop and maintain a good agency force, which is the focus of this report.
