Description
Summary:The purpose of this research project is to analyse the level of difficulty and the amount of time taken for School of Accountancy and Business (SAB) graduates from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to get their first employment upon graduation. The data collection methods comprise structured interviews and unstructured interviews, and a three-page questionnaire. The population for the study comprises graduates of 1993/1994 from the School of Accountancy and Business of NTU, and the organisations in NTU's Career Fair and recruitment drives. From the population frame, a sampling frame is drawn using disproportionate stratified random sampling. This sampling design is used because the School of Accountancy and Business graduates are divided into seven segments: Accountancy, Actuarial Science, Banking, Financial Analysis, Human Resource Management, Insurance and Marketing.
