Description
Summary:This dissertation is concerned with the anticipated changes in the warehousing and distribution strategy in the Singapore Prison Service. The dissertation details the process taken by the team assigned to develop a strategic warehousing and distribution plan that will optimize the resources while meeting all the constraints. For the project, the team had adopted the seven-step procedure from James A. Tompkins to develop the strategic warehouse plan. The main reason that the project team had adopted the above methodology instead of others to derive die strategy plan is because the methodology is easy to understand and very systematic. The team had also found the procedure easy to comprehend and implement.
