Description
Summary:Nowadays wireless sensor networks (WSN) are beginning to be applied at an accelerated pace. It has been deployed in various areas including node localization, routing, power management etc. For wireless sensor networks, the system are wireless, are real-time, have scarce power, have dynamically changing sets of resources, utilize sensors and actuators as interfaces, location is critical and aggregate behaviour is important. With the energy cost increasing and too much energy wasted, people start to ponder methods to improve energy efficiency. One practical idea is to build remote control system to control air conditioner’s wake up schedule by detecting and analyzing indoor air quality information. In such a way, unnecessary power consumption can be effectively minimized when nobody or few people occupy the room. WSN technology makes this idea reality.
