Cadence Virtuoso schematic editor and Virtuoso Analog Design Environment are used in this design. This dynamic reference ADC is designed to convert any analog input within the range of 0 to 1V to its corresponding digital representation. Under a supply voltage of 1.8V, the ADC is expected to work at a maximum frequency of 2.8MHz. Basic blocks of comparators, voltage reference and dynamic voltage references are designed and simulated at each stage of the design work.
