The data in this paper was gathered through semi-structured interviews with respondents who were selected through non-random sampling methods. This research also aims to examine the profile of a drug user that the state attempts to create. In addition, the respondents were asked to give their opinions about the state created profile of drug users. The respondents were also asked about their opinions on how the variables of race, educational qualifications and social class impact drug usage.
