Summary: | The increased availability of rodenticides present on the market has led to increased cases of accidental or intentional poisoning in the recent decades. With the advancement in technology and methods, supported liquid extraction has been suggested to have a greater capability in clean and fast extraction as compared to the currently widely used extraction methods. When applied to rodenticides, it could provide a much through and higher efficient extraction. Many literatures have been published with new and novel techniques focusing on increased sensitivity in the detection of multiple rodenticides. This paper aims to collate and compare the different techniques proposed by the different literatures and provide a basic overview on the current techniques currently available to the industry |
