Further understanding of specific issues were supplemented by interviews with directors, managers, business analysts of these companies. Several interesting findings were observed, and from there important conclusions were drawn. Essentially, Singapore's investments in China were small and problems encountered were mainly in the areas of uncertain business environment and lack of legal safeguards.
