Chamber/heater communication and control via serial port and Matlab

Nowadays, the environment for most experiments should be controlled and adjusted strictly. A Chamber/heater will provide the different environment, and test condition for drive performance. A Chamber/heater will provide the different environment, and test condition for drive performance. In order to control and adjust the Chamber/heater in accuracy, it’s useful to control the Chamber/heater by programming system to achieve this. While MATLAB has great potential to be a good communication to online control chamber and change the test environment. This project is aim to design a software mainly through MATLAB to connect the communication between chamber and MATLAB based on the knowledge of serial port communication and data transfer formats. In the designed software, some MATLAB script functions should be built to give command to the chamber and receive the information back at the same time. Meanwhile, a GUI should be fabricated to build a control panel on the Chamber and achieve remote all the system.
