Over the years, the reason why music evokes emotion is still relatively unknown, and it has sparked interest in researchers to continuously look into the relationship between music and emotion. The effect of music in films — evoking emotions — is undoubtedly significant. Music placed appropriately in film is usually intended to bring the audience to certain emotional states. In film, text can be brought to life and this brings us to question: does music bring the same effect to film as to text? |
