Cellular signaling network to Hepatitis B viral infection : isolation of guanine nucleotide binding protein B subunit 5L as cellular protein interacting with HBX.
Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is one of the most common viral infections worldwide which results in a wide range of liver diseases including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The molecular mechanism underlying HBV-mediated HCC development remains to be resolved.
