Description
Summary:The objective of this dissertation is to study the feasibility of setting up an industrial park. Industrial park investment projects are usually capital intensive and "high risk business". They always involve many factors, such as the economics of a country, which are not controllable by the developer. Singapore has been a very successful ground for industrial park development through its Jurong Town Corporation. However for overseas investment, there are more risks involved. In this dissertation, a study on all the criteria involved is being presented. A case study of setting up an industrial park in the Republic of Philippines was used to elaborate on the financial modeling and other investment criteria.
