Focusing on investigating the noise-like pulse generation in mode lock fibre lasers, the author explored the generation procedure of the noise-like pulse from the mode locked fibre laser in this project. Besides, the numerical modelling of the designed fibre laser was also carried out to mathematically validate the theoretical inference regarding the noise-like pulse generation.
