Wind turbines are developed into various types and are well utilized all over the world nowadays. Multiple wind turbines in array arrangement form up a wind farm. Energy generated by wind farms can be directly used for domestic supply, or can be transmitted to rural areas through connections to the power grid. In this paper, a specific type of wind turbine, a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator based Wind Turbine Power System will be designed and illustrated in detail through a simulation model study based on the Matlab Simulink analysis tools.
