Quantitative image analysis of microstructures and application to the study of fracture in composites
This project aimed to study new composites such as ceramics-reinforced metal matrix composites (MMCs). Effort was made to produce silicon carbide reinforced aluminium alloy matrix composites by casting in NTU's Materials Laboratory.
