Electro-magnetic shielding using 3d materials

Three-dimensional graphene foams have been one of the most commonly used material in nanotechnology. These three-dimensional graphene foams can be used in many different areas. It is well-known for its electrical conductivity with a strong mechanics. A paramagnetic solution like iron oxide Fe3O4...

These three-dimensional graphene foams can be used in many different areas. It is well-known for its electrical conductivity with a strong mechanics. A paramagnetic solution like iron oxide Fe3O4 was tested out many times under nitrogen environment. This method is getting popular due to its light weight towards a graphene foam. This experiment is carried out to magnetize the three-dimensional graphene foams for different uses. For this project, a three-dimensional graphene foam which was formed by the chemical vapor deposition, etching away nickel components. The experiment that was carried out was in a safe environment by using safe and cheap materials which can be easily found. The purpose is to reduce the amount of reflection it is currently producing. Poly(dimethylsiloxane) was used to coat the foams before undergoing a test which involve electromagnetic.
