Description
Summary:This report presents the understanding, design and fabrication of a simple control system for a Flapping Wing Micro Aerial Vehicle (FWMAV) to change its angle of flight. We look at different FWMAV models and materials that are available in the market, fabricating a customised model specific to the project requirements. The use of existing FWMAV models in with Linear Servos and Rotary Servos by the research group presents limitations in and efficient change in flight direction and stationary angle change. A total of 4 iterations of control system is thought up, and fabricated for testing. Finally, evaluation of the systems together with the customised FWMAV model is done and improvements are suggested for future studies.
