However, concerns were raised about their children’s socio-emotional health. Much research has focused on the controversy of tiger parenting and sparked a comparison between the dominantly Asian parenting style and the less strict/more lenient Western styles of parenting. This paper would then aim to discover how these children respond to this particular parenting style through the psychological, physical and cognitive effects.
