The choice of title for my project reflects how Singlish is a big part of growing up in Singapore as well as the phrase being a fitting way to describe responses from the surprises in life faced by the protagonist in my narrative illustration book. The main themes covered in my project fall under the umbrella of unspoken rules that the youth face while growing up in Singapore, portraying them in a light-hearted point of view, which will be covered in detail in this report. This report will summarise the process and development of this project from the ideation to post-production.
