He found his resolution at the end when he sits with his wife’s spirit and sends her away willingly, accepting her death. In this research paper, I will be exploring the topics of death and mourning in the Arabic culture, how ‘Ya Aburnee’ as a story came about and the challenges of dealing with death as a topic in film. This paper also covers the challenges and process of how my partner and I developed our film.
