Description
Summary:Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) both have common similar objectives, aim to give user a sense of immersion which simulates an effect as if user was transported into another world in split second. With the help of VR sensors like accelerometers, magnetometers and gyroscopes, it allows the movement of the user’s head to be measured. These measurements will then be translated and act as feedback to interact with the virtual environment, providing user a realistic first-person view experience. The release of a mobile app game, Pokemon Go in July 2016 had brought augmented reality to mass adoption. This engaging game is the first experience of AR for many people, attracted widespread attention and investment, showing a huge potential for benefit. VR is certainly still a maturing technology, which had had shown promising end results, and even dream. It has been predicted and voted as one of the top few technology trends that will transform our world in 2018. The primary aim of this project is to create a VR environment, adding a bit of game components in it, implementing it on a web-based platform. Today, almost every teenager owns a phone with mobile data services which allows them to browse the website easily. Thus, this is the best platform that is not hardware demanding, and capable to provide a chance for more target audience to have a feel of VR experiences.
