To be more specified, it is to see what plans the government had for the lion dance. A big aspect of it is to use lion dance to aid in forming national identity. As the concept of lion dance will be brought in, it will also be appropriate to discuss when the lion dance appeared in Singapore, and what are the changes it went through under the Singapore context. The time scope will range between the nineteen century till the current time. |
