Summary: | Since the recent launch of Open Electricity Market (OEM) initiative in Singapore, all households will have the option of switching from Singapore Powers (SP Group) who was the sole electricity distributor to another electricity retailer. Consumers will be given a wide range of electricity retailers and plan s to choose from and in turn benefit from competitive pricing. There were about 13 electricity retailers upon launch who have offered many various types of price plan s for consumers. The mobile application for this project aims to help consumers choo s e the most suitable electricity price plan based on their usage through a mobile platform for the convenience of accessibility The mobile application was designed to cater to three different type s of audience which consist of the consumers, administrative user and retailer s Additional features that utilize machine learning to predict the most suitable type of price plan, electricity tariff rate and usage have been implemented to enhance the functionality of the mobile application This report will cover the design infrastructure of the mobile application and its implemented features. |
