The data will contain information about students’ contact details such as phone number and email address. On the other hand, the administrator will be able to send out more notices to all the students who have expressed their interest. Therefore, this paper is developed for the simplicity of database management to control and manage club members’ data, by using a web- based application for administration and Unity PC application for the users to register and to gain access to the chess games. There are two types of users who can use this system: student and administrator. Each of these users can have different access to the system. The club members can have access to the application to register to express their interest during CCA fair, if they were keen to join the club, they will need to confirm their email to gain access to the application. The administrator can use the admin web page to manage the database of the club members. The administrator can send out emails to the club members to keep them updated with the latest news of the chess club. In addition, the administrator has a choice to update the students’ details. Moreover, the administrator controls the system by managing (add, delete, update) club member. In this project, a generic responsive website called NTU Admin was designed and developed for database management and a Unity PC application called NTU Chess Registration System was designed and developed for the registrations of chess club members. In this project, several programming languages and other related techniques were investigated and practiced. The whole process will be explained in detail in this report which includes an introduction, literature review, design process, project development, conclusion, and future work recommendations.
